I would think that it wouldn't matter if they were feminine or masculine as long as you keep the patterns simple. Like you said, they are for hauling wood before anything else....of course, I don't haul wood. It just may be that there are hoards of women out there looking for wood carriers in a lovely chinz. Ya think?

I am totally digging on those veggie stockings.....what a thought for a christmas theme! I could do everything all garden related! I speak "marmy" well enough!

Studly says that if you didn't live in a one sheep town, you'd have more fabric choices!

Actually, is there something in particular you are looking for? Maybe I can help. Have you gone online to see if some of the Doodle shops will ship to you? Might still work out cheaper than what you have to pay, even with shipping.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807732436038472698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-69354498961386052612008-09-15T07:05:00.000-05:002008-09-15T07:05:00.000-05:00cripes, just be having a mini stroke this afternoo...cripes, just be having a mini stroke this afternoon, its cos I aint eaten yet today....

'sad a mine cob corn' = said a mini corn cob...

shaking me head and finding a tall tree with a short rope lol

xMarmiteToastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02536695634856882487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-9275611825261083662008-09-15T07:04:00.000-05:002008-09-15T07:04:00.000-05:00Ben wants one shaped like a courgette, Tom a parsn...Ben wants one shaped like a courgette, Tom a parsnip, Sam an Aubigene and Jacob sad a mine cob corn would be big enough for now LMFAO.....

Still envious of all the lovely cheap material you doodles have over there....

xMarmiteToastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02536695634856882487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-10176871806157943692008-09-15T06:34:00.000-05:002008-09-15T06:34:00.000-05:00How about a little of both? Will post them later (like... when I make them!)

MIL ~ Thanks for the love! If the world goes to hell in a hand basket, I will be able to maintain my Rubenesque figure! Studly, will be looking more like the scarecrow, if we are left with only my stores!

Kelly... not sure if no-sew blankets are the "it" thing anymore, but I believe that any handmade gift is great!

Anna ~ Monograming is a good idea, except that I haven't figured out my embroidery thingy for my machine!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807732436038472698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-55338124196291379922008-09-14T09:58:00.000-05:002008-09-14T09:58:00.000-05:00Boy, you've been busy! Or you could be like LLBean or whoever and monogram them!Thimbleannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03650582809426872051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-80409702352692526322008-09-14T09:22:00.000-05:002008-09-14T09:22:00.000-05:00Well if I needed a wood carrier (and I LOVE wood b...Well if I needed a wood carrier (and I LOVE wood burning stoves, so I wish I *did* need one!), I'd want a girly one. Who doesn't want to look feminine whilst carrying a grand load of wood??? My dh, otoh, wouldn't carry wood if his life depended on it, lmbo! But if he did, he'd want a masculine one...like fish (salmon, bass, etc...no pretty ocean fish), camo, a nice dark plaid maybe.

Although you stink for mentioning Christmas, I'd really planned on trying to make everything this year. Are no-sew blankets still cool? That's about all I'm going to be able to handle, I think.Mama Tangohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901576374527062668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931522768359636723.post-31333552342289358432008-09-13T20:24:00.000-05:002008-09-13T20:24:00.000-05:00MIL here------I am SO impressed with all your hard...MIL here------I am SO impressed with all your hard work in setting in supplies for the winter ( tho' my son will starve since he won't eat any of your works.) I am also very impressed with the clever doggies and think you should definately sell them in your etsy store.
