She was here almost two weeks, but we were gone part of that time. Still... a week with my first-born is a very rare treat!!
We did stuff, didn't do stuff, took naps, picked endless strawberries, ate, and hung out. And I never had my camera with me. Ever.
I only took one stinkin' picture of her! And it isn't even a good picture! Too dark, no composition, no cooperation either. Brace yourself!
Impressive... no? National Geographic just called and wants me to travel the world taking similarly stunning photos for them. Gotta go pack!
*Double Sigh*
So, the house seems a bit empty and life will return to its normal crazy self. Summer school for yours truly begins June 1. I have 1 class each of the two sessions, each lasting 5 weeks.
5 weeks?!? It takes me longer than that to get a really good point on my pencil! I am in deep scholarly trouble.
Class 1... Pharmacology. We have already received our first assignment, due the first day of class. Ten chapters with study guide pages, each filled with really hard drug names and complicated spellings. 10 chapters. TEN. Oh boy! But now that I think of it, there are 56 chapters and only 5 weeks, so I'm getting off easy by 1 chapter! Whoo hoo!
Thankfully,Courtney made chocolate chip/chunk cookies last night. I will survive. And then there are always

I'm glad you had a good time with your eldest. Strawberries and chocolate chunk cookies- what a great combination. Mmmm.

Ick! School in summer! I never could wrap my brain around that idea. Summer school is for kids who mess up during the school year, isn't it?
I have heard that the best study food is cheesecake topped with crushed up chocolate chunk cookies and fresh strawberries, but that is just a rumor... *winky-smiley*
I'm glad you guys had fun! And I'm sorry about summer school :( It is truly a terrible experience (at least mine was). But you are very smart and will get through it with flying colors! I love you mommy!
How nice! A house guest who leaves something you don't have to mail...

Sounds like you had a great time! I'm sure you'll do great in summer school just like you did with the rest of your classes.
Hope you enjoy those cookies (are there any left) and the strawberries. Yumm.
How lovely to have your girl home...... I wish sometimes mine would all leave and then just come to visit lol

Ugh...summer school...the worst! I'm glad you got to send some quality time with your eldest!
The house does seem way too quiet after they leave, doesn't it? Well, you always have Nick and he likes to eat poop and then puke it up!!
Not that anyone is counting but it has been 10 DAYS since you've posted...
Ha! Think I got your xmas present last night...
