::30:: Day 15

Well. Finally. Stud Muffin is back at work and I can get back to it myself. It actually started last night as I ran out of the ball of "one ball per sock" yarn. I invented the perfect sock for classy women like myself to wear with peep toe heels! Fab-u-lous!!

I especially like the needle across the foot look, but Nick isn't convinced!

Speaking of Nick, I also invented a new word in this household for a male dog (or other species) that won't stop annoying the female members of the family, some of whom just want to play with their toys. A Pesticle! Bwahahaha! Okay, maybe you had to be there, but still I'm using it frequently around here.

This morning, the weeding and wacking continued, at least until I ran out of weedwacker line. But I got one cart full of weeds and grass for the compost bins.

Hey! It's starting to look better!

There was raking too!

Sassy played with a frog as I raked, and finally decided that tap dancing in the shrub was the best course of canine action.

I gutted another vegetable bed, and Sassy ate all of the little red peppers that shot off of the plants as I yanked them out of the soil.

I even did some mopping inside the house, but I won't show you that, 'cus I don't want to be the cause of any heart attacks or anything... MIL!

Then, as I surfed around the blogosphere, I came upon a collection of funny posts by various bloggers, hosted by June Cleaver Nirvana. So I joined in with my pickled beets story . Go check the stories out right here, and join in if you wish! I'm number 27, but you should enjoy the other stories too!

Whoah...dude...you have some wacked out comment thingie now. It's creeping me out. But in a good way.

And fyi (because, you know, it's so interesting), my word verification for my last comment was spahond, which made me think of "spahound", which made me giggle for some unknown reason. Just thought I'd share.
